DTI is a fully Christian Accredited Bible College and seminary. We are dedicated to the call through Christ to provide a source of educational courses and methods for those who wish to show themselves approved unto God and by man.

DTI offers sessions of Bible enhancement with a spiritual, prophetic and doctrinally sound foundation. We offer a stellar education with great instructors at a cost far below standard ground and online institutions .

Student are offered payment plans through DTI Financial Care, an interest free payment plan, scholarship funding is also available to those who qualify.
DTI confers undergraduate and graduate level degrees which are earned through prescribed courses of study with a wide range of degrees from Associates to Doctorates.

DTI has based all of it's core and behavioral values as well as our Code of Ethics on the fullness of the scripture. We believe in and teach both the "5 & 8 Fold" Ministries.

We profess that GOD uses men and women in ministry for preaching and teaching, and that no person can live in open and willful sin and continue to be a leader in ministy.
DTI stands by our policy that ministry is not bound by a person's age, ethnic background or socio-economic up bringing.

DTI's vision is to establish a system open to all sects of Christianity, where the believer is able to hone their gifts and beliefs through diverse teaching and training from professors of multiple disciplines.
DTI is proud to offer Hebrew, Greek and Latin in the Summer during our Grace Sessions from a Roman Catholic Priest and a Jewish Rabbi.
OUR HISTORY

/ OUR ROOTS
Destiny Theological Institute & Seminary also known as DTI was established in the summer of 2007 as a ministry training class. DTI's humble beginings as the NFC Ministers Training Class at the New Family Church of Chicago produced 5 pastors and 14 ministers. In 2011 Dr. Austin began his HD Leadership Institute which was used by several churches around the city of Chicago and surrounding areas to train and prepare their ministers and leaders for next level ministy.
Dr. Joshua Bernard Austin, DTI founder, began teaching at the FAM Institute Bible College & Seminary, where he would eventually be promoted to the office of Dean and subsequently introduce and develope a very susccessful on-line program for the school.
FAM Institute President, Dr. Heidi Ellis spoke DTI into excistance through a Prophetic utterance.
In January of 2013 a board of Trustess was formed and the name Destiny Theological Institute & Seminary was accepted as the new name. Since that time LORD has blessed the school to be active in builidng stronger believers and warriors for Christ.
DTI has and is building strong paternerships with several other partnering institutions to develope and mold 21st Century leaders for the Kingdom.
/ HISTORICAL PERSPECTIVE

DTI has put heavy emphasis on studying the teachings of both Theologians and secular Academics to put DTI into a place where we are impacting both the Church and everyday society.
Our curriculum pulls from the thought processes of such academics as Dr. Booker T. Washington, Dr. George Washington Carver and Dr. Mary McLoud Bethune to such Theologins as Basil, O'Conner, Smith Wigglesworth and even Pope Francis.

The vison for DTI is for it to become one of the leading Christian Institutions with a global footprint in Education, Government and Ministry.
DTI offers each student the best education through the marvels of modern technology and Univeristy Advancement. the 10 year strategic plan laid out by the President includes Majors in Comunications, Multimedia Ministry, Market Place Ministry and even Urban Development.
